Did you know that Spike's "greed spurts" were perfectly natural for his species of dragon? That's how they grow. He's a Vice Dragon. [link]

So the morality of that episode is invalid because they're stopping him from growing up. Who the heck can domesticate dragons in Equestria anyway? It's just not right, unless there's absolutely no risk. (Which is impossible for most dragons) The only way I was possibly able to domesticate a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and many more dragons on Olympus was my mindlink ability.
